OWNER | TRAINER
Kristen started riding at the young age of 4 and made Blackstone (then called Treeline Stables) her home when she was just 6 years old. Her junior years were spent training with some of the top trainers across the country, including George Morris, while showing in Colorado and Texas. Competing up to 1.35m Jumpers, Kristen ended her impressive junior career with her personally trained jumper, McLeod, receiving USHJA Zone 7 HOTY (Horse of the Year) and an invitation to the Maclay Finals.
She went on to receive an NCAA D1 Athletic Scholarship for Oklahoma State University's Equestrian Team. Even as a Freshman, Kristen won multiple MVPs (now recognized as MOP) and traveled with the team to NCEA Nationals.
After college, Kristen worked her way up to CFO/COO for her family’s world-wide promotional product company, Knock-Out Specialties.
In 2006, Kristen received her USEF/USHJA professional status, specializing in jumpers, equitation, green/problematic horses, OTTBs, and rehabilitation. Currently a board member with the Dallas Hunter Jumper Scholarship Circuit, Kristen continues to be actively involved with both the local and national circuits.
Kristen resides on property with her high school sweetheart, Jason, their two daughters (Bridgette and Brooklynn), and their dogs, Lexi and Boss.

Prior to becoming a full-time hunter/jumper professional, Brittany worked at Equest Therapeutic Riding Center and received her advanced certification through PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship). "Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will watch over me on this journey I am taking and will give me food to eat and clothes to wear so that I return safely to my father’s household, then the Lord will be my God and this stone that I have set up as a pillar will be God’s house, and of all that you give me I will give you a tenth.” Genesis 28: 20
